Eric Heidenheim - Music Director
Eric Heidenheim retired from the Thames Valley District School Board in 2018, after 30 years of teaching instrumental music. He started the band program at J.P. Robarts Elementary School and at the secondary level, Eric was a member of the Montcalm, Clarke Road and Westminster Music Departments. The last 13 years of his career were spent conducting the wonderful bands at H.B.Beal Secondary. Eric endeavoured to remain active as a musician during his teaching career. He has played in many community ensembles over the years and has played bass trombone in Encore The Concert Band for 23 years. He is proud to have also joined the trombone section of the London Concert Band. For the past 12 years Eric has conducted the Saturday Morning Brass, a brass band affiliated with the New Horizons program at Western University. He is a member of Phi Beta Mu, the International School Band Master Fraternity and has attended conducting courses at Western University and the University of Toronto.
Kaeleigh Campbell - Conductor
Kaeleigh Campbell has been conducting musical ensembles since graduating from Western University in 2010. She has been a performer in the London Concert Band since the late 2000’s and, in 2020, joined the ensembles conducting team. Kaeleigh is currently the middle school music teacher at Matthews Hall Independent School where she conducts a variety of choirs and bands and has been musical director for the school’s productions of Annie and Seussical. Other highlights of her conducting experiences include leading a steel pan ensemble in Trinidad and conducting an intermediate youth choir of over 250 students at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
Don Clark - Conductor
Don taught instrumental music and bands for 32 years with the Thames Valley District School Board and its predecessor the London Board of Education. For twenty years he was the department head of music at A. B. Lucas Secondary School. The bands under his direction received numerous awards and trophies from the Kiwanis Music Festival and Musicfest regional and national festivals. Several times the bands received recognition for their participation in the Ontario provincial music festivals as well. He is Adjudicator Chair and an active member of the board for the London Kiwanis Music Festival. Don continues to enjoy playing the trumpet and part time conducting with the London Concert Band. He is thrilled to sing in the Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church Choir directed by his wife Lorraine.
